First she demonstrated Adobe Lightroom, which is a database program, suitable for professional photographers, to help them keep track of their images. Then she did PhotoshopCS3 Extended (which I have). She introduced a lot of new features – very fast – but I took notes, and at least I know these things exist so I can look them up. She said ’set yourself projects’, and it’s great advice, that I will take. So my next project will be book art using Photoshop. I just have to think of a theme.

Collage – paper triangles
October 29, 2007 · 1 Comment
This small collage is in my A5 sketchbook. When I make a hand-made book, I cut the corners off the cover paper and I’m always left with four small triangles. After a while I started saving them and at the weekend I turned them into a collage.
Most of these papers are paste papers that I’ve made myself, but there are some pieces of chiyogami paper and one small piece of embossed Indian paper.
Starting Monday night…..

On Monday night I start teaching a Star Tunnel Book over three weeks at Artwise, the amazing paper shop. This book has been made to showcase some of their beautiful Japanese papers. You can see some photographs of the book on the Artwise website.
