The weather was terrible on Saturday for my last class at the Botanic Gardens, and the last Sketchabout. We started the class early so we could make some credit card papers. Then we went to the Tropical Centre which has three distinct areas with different climates. Last time I was in there it was pretty much hot and wet. However, with the rain battering down outside, it didn’t really seem wet at all, and with no sun coming in – it wasn’t so hot either. There are some amazing plants there and such fun to draw. We continued on there in the afternoon, and so I finished a four page spread.

I think these have been some of my favorites yet, Wendy. I love greens and leaves and plants and have enjoyed each of your entries from this gorgeous place!
