After our wet few days we expected more rain. It was another catch-up with Robyn and Annie and this time Alissa too. The sun came out & we were able to sit outside where I had very yummy corn fritters. I no longer draw my food – on the whole it’s boring to me. White cups and more white cups. I’d certainly draw a cup that was different.
After lunch we sat in Union Square to draw the rooftops and chimney pots. Cute little buildings there but I always zoom right in. Why is it so? I seem to be very interested in rooftops and doorways at the moment.

It was a lovely day and this drawing is great. I know the feature is the chimneys , but I like the rust patches on the corrugated roof the best !
